Tandem bearings have the following structural types:
The basic type tandem bearing is to connect the shaft ring, the seat ring and the roller-cage assembly through the elastic spacer. This type of bearing is a separate structure, the parts can be disassembled, and it must be carefully installed and disassembled according to the numbering sequence provided by our company.
The tandem bearing with shaft is a modified structure bearing. A shaft is inserted in the inner hole of the basic tandem bearing, and the bearing is fixed on the shaft with an elastic lock ring. The bearing parts of this type are inseparable, and it is very convenient to install and dismount the whole bearing during use.
Tandem bearing with sleeve, sleeve is sleeved on the outside of the basic tandem bearing.
When using tandem bearings, the following recommendations should be adhered to:
1. Preload: 1% of the dynamic basic load rating. The dynamic basic load rating of each tandem bearing . Figures not listed will be provided by out institute on request.
2. Radial guidance: full complement cylindrical roller bearings or needle roller bearings can be used.
3. Eliminate tilting: the supporting parts must be machined to eliminate any tilting.
4. Mounting tolerances: recommended the following mounting tolerances: shaft f6 and housing bore F7.
5. Lubrication: tandem bearings must always be lubricated by oil circulation.

Types of Extruder
Many types of extruders are used in the food industries and several designs are possible for a food extruder. The most commonly used extruder consists of the flighted screw(s) or worm(s) rotating within a sleeve or barrel to be termed as the screw extruder. However, the piston type extruders are possible though they are used in other type of industries. The flights on the screw push the plasticized material forward and discharge through an opening or the die. On the basis of the number of the screw, extruders can be classified as a single-screw or twin-screw extruders.
